The Event
This summer, Las Vegas welcomed Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® for its 72nd Boule, the organization's premier international gathering.
The week brought more than 27,000 members to Las Vegas for leadership, business, networking, service and celebration, creating a citywide event experience on a massive scale.
Dusk Till Dawn was brought in to contribute a small but highly visible piece of the production: providing the DJ booth and tube lighting for an event centered around one of the organization's most recognizable visual identities — AKA's iconic pink and green.
The Production Goal
For an event of this scale, production details needed to complement the existing environment while staying visually consistent with the organization and its branding.
The goal was simple: create a clean DJ setup and lighting element that felt intentional within the larger event environment and incorporated the signature pink and green color palette.
Our Solution
Dusk Till Dawn provided a DJ booth setup and tube lighting to support the event's entertainment and visual production.
The tube lights added a colorful, modern lighting element around the DJ area, allowing the production to naturally incorporate Alpha Kappa Alpha's signature pink and green colors.
Rather than overpowering the surrounding event design, the lighting worked as an accent — adding energy and visual cohesion to the DJ area while reinforcing the event's overall aesthetic.
The DJ booth completed the setup, creating a dedicated focal point for entertainment and helping the production feel polished and cohesive.
Production Details
Tube Lighting
The tube lighting was used to bring AKA's recognizable pink and green color palette into the production design.
The illuminated tubes added dimension around the DJ area while creating a visual connection between the entertainment setup and the larger event environment.
DJ Booth
Dusk Till Dawn also provided the DJ booth, creating a clean and professional setup for the event's entertainment.
Together, the booth and tube lighting created a simple production package that could integrate into a much larger event without competing with the overall design.
The Result
The finished setup brought together pink, green and glowing production details to complement one of Las Vegas' largest gatherings of the summer.
While Dusk Till Dawn's contribution was one part of a much larger production, the DJ booth and tube lighting helped create a visually cohesive entertainment area that reflected the event's identity.
For us, it was a reminder that large-scale event production isn't always about taking over the room. Sometimes, it's about providing the right details to make the bigger picture come together.
